BiographyARBITRATOR - MEDIATOR

Joe became interested in the concept of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the early 1990's. This prompted him to become trained as an arbitrator and mediator. His trial skills honed over 3 decades give him unique insight and make him an effective Arbitrator or Mediator.
He was one of the presenters at the first ADR Forum in Tennessee. He has been a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Neutral since 1997 and participates in various ADR programs of the US District Courts in Tennessee. Joe is a member of various Arbitration panels of the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)/FINRA. He is the Senior Author of the Tennessee ADR Handbook (The Harrison Co. 1997) and created the Tennessee Mediation Pocket Guide (2000).
Joe's most recent mediation training qualified him to conduct domestic of family mediation and be became a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator in 2008.
